UVDSA was established as a chapter of the Democratic Socialists of America in 2019. Our organization has active members across the Upper Valley community of New Hampshire and Vermont. 

UVDSA’s primary project is to organize militant labor and tenant unions and to prepare members to defend working class and oppressed peoples from attacks at work, at home, and in the community. We aim to become an organization of mass organizers guided by socialist principles. Our chapter programming is designed to develop new organizers, educate current organizers, and serve as a networking space to coordinate various organizing projects toward creating a coherent working class movement.
